Meet the Founder
Founder
Dr. Michael Portereiko, PhD
"Doc Mike," as he is affectionately referred, received his PhD in Oncology from the University of Utah in 2003, worked in the agriculture industry until 2019, and became Director of R&D at a Cannabis company in Los Angeles in 2019, where he developed multiple health & wellness products under the Doc Mike's brand. In 2024 he turned his attention to non-Cannabis derived botanical ingredients to create a line of products that could be discovered and used by a wider audience. Believing in pesticide free and chemical free plant-based products with a luxury feel, at inexpensive prices, Doc Mike founded FloRxa in 2025 to do just that.
